All products at Tamasine's Camo Green begin as a used military or service uniform.
The different sizes, age and wear of a uniform directly affects the size and color of the finished items. We feature the Battle Dress Uniform (BDU), the Army Combat Uniform (ACU) and the Desert Camouflage Uniform (DCU) which are acquired through donations or from Thrift Shops. Then through careful planning, cutting and construction Tamasine creates a new item that is durable as well as chic.
Any item below can be custom made from the uniform or service item that you currently have. Making an apron, bag, stocking or wine sleeve from the uniform of a loved one gives special meaning to the item and allows for continued recognition of selfless service.

Made from reused uniforms featuring the BDU, ACU and DCU, this bag provides a catchall for the busy mom or a perfect prep bag for any and all activities. With a wide center section which is fully lined, and an outside button pocket, there is plenty of room to keep your items. Two nylon web straps make it easy to carry in your hand or over your shoulder. A closure, personalization and/or longer straps can all be accommodated for a small additional charge.

Made from reused uniforms featuring the BDU, ACU and DCU, this full length apron is perfect for grilling outdoors or gourmet creations indoors. A cotton binding creates the continuous ties and neck loop. A pocket in the front features a slip in pocket for utensils, accoutrements and a button smaller pocket for items you want to keep under control. Made from reused uniforms featuring the BDU, ACU and DCU, this half apron has ties on both sides attached through the middle and this apron features two slip in pockets each with a button down pocket as well. It is perfect for the Grill Sergeant in you ~ indoors or outdoors. This apron can be personalized with nametapes and qualification badges but is not as conducive to patches. |
